Jill Campbell Stewart, PT, PhD
Dr. Stewart is an Associate Professor in the Program in Physical Therapy, Department of Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina. As a physical therapist and researcher, she is interested in the behavioral and neural correlates of skilled motor behavior in health and after stroke with an emphasis on improving motor rehabilitation. After completing an entry-level Physical Therapy degree at the University of Evansville and an MS in Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Stewart practiced as a physical therapist for several years before returning to graduate school. She received her PhD in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in Neurology at the University of California, Irvine. |
